Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of making your contributions or donations go further, as it allows us to reclaim the basic rate tax you have already paid as a UK taxpayer. You need to have paid enough tax to cover the Gift Aid donations you make in the tax year.
It means that for every £1 you give us, we can claim an extra 25p of tax, at no extra cost to you. All you need to do is tick the Gift Aid box on your form when you register for counselling.

You only have to permit us once to claim Gift Aid each time you pay for counselling with us or make a donation, and you can cancel your declaration at any time simply by getting in touch, either by calling us on 0131 556 1527 or by sending an email with your details to: askus@bright-light.org.uk.
