Claire is raising money for Bright Light

Support Claire as she walks for 14 DAys!

Claire, our Counselling Practice Manager, is walking the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, to raise awareness and funds for our affordable counselling.

All monies raised will support clients to access counselling who would otherwise struggle to meet the (already subsidised) fees.

Claire will walk for 14 days along the beautiful coastal route. Each day will be between 15 and 20km with the first day out from Porto being 30km.

Claire leaves Porto on the 5th September, arriving in Santiago late on the 18th. She will post short updates and pictures on her Instagram @claireedwards2 and on @brightlightcounselling.

Follow her progress and donate using the button below. Every
£ will go towards helping someone to #choose counselling.

Fully funded counselling available

Prostate cancer - free counselling

When people talk about prostate cancer, the focus is often on medical treatment: appointments, test results, medications, and procedures. Which are, of course, incredibly important.

But there is another part of the experience that can sometimes receive less attention: the impact that prostate cancer can have on relationships. Many men find themselves facing questions they never expected to ask. Changes in health, energy levels, intimacy, communication, confidence, and future plans can place strain on even the strongest relationships.

We’ve a limited number of fully funded counselling appointments for couples and individuals available for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. We provide a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly, understand one another more fully, and develop ways of navigating these challenges together. It isn’t about assigning blame or suggesting that a relationship is failing. Rather, it’s about strengthening communication, building understanding, and helping people face difficult circumstances as a team. For more information and to register, email Rebecca. Appointments are completely free, fully funded by a small Prostate Cancer grant.
